Under the mentorship & guidelines of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Govt. Of India and Indian Red Cross Society, Punjab State Branch Chandigarh , the Red Cross Integrated and Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts Gurdaspur organised one health and welfare camp at Samta Yog Aashram under the “Suraksha Shivirs – Single-window health and welfare camps for Safai Mitras for preventive health care treatment and linkages with various welfare schemes of Central and State Government.
The team of IRCA Gurdaspur along with its project director and team of doctors from Civil Hospital Gurdaspur motivated the youth especially safai karmchari mitras tand other people to take care of their health and also suggested about Welfare scheme for preventive measures against any risk regarding health. Mr Mahajan, Project director, also put more emphasis on cleanliness and healthy life style of youth.

Indian Red Cross Society, Punjab State Branch Organizes
Awareness Camp on Drug Abuse.
The Indian Red Cross Society, Punjab State, Drug de-addiction and Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts, Nawanshahr, organized an awareness camp at village Rurki Kalan (S.B.S. Nagar).
The camp aimed to create awareness about the risks associated with drug abuse, its impact on individuals and families, and the available support for those struggling with addiction. The event featured expert talks and interactive sessions.
The awareness camp was well-received by the villagers, who showed enthusiasm and eagerness to learn about the risks of drug abuse. The Indian Red Cross Society, Punjab State Branch, will continue to organize such events to promote a healthier and more resilient community.
