On *Saturday, 27th July 2024′ , *The Indian Red Cross Society, Punjab State Branch, Chandigarh*, in collaboration with the *Government Model Senior Secondary (Junior wing) School, Sector-16, Chandigarh*, proudly celebrated *World Nature Conservation Day* at the school premises.
This year’s theme, *”Living Sustainably in Harmony with Nature,”* resonated deeply with the event’s purpose.
As part of the event, *trees were planted within the school grounds*, symbolizing the significance of greenery and its benefits. The program aimed to educate and raise awareness among students about the importance of trees and their usefulness in our daily lives.
The celebration served as a reminder of the vital importance of conserving our natural resources and protecting the environment for future generations.
On this World Nature Conservation Day, we pledged to plant more trees, taking a collective step towards preserving our planet’s beauty and saving mother nature.
