*Indian Red Cross Society, Punjab State Branch, Chandigarh*, through its *Hospital Welfare Section, PGI*, celebrated *International Day of Charity and Teacher’s Day* at *PGI, Chandigarh*.
The Hospital Welfare Section has been tirelessly working for decades, providing daily medication to patients. This planned event, spearheaded by *Mr.Shivdular Singh Dhillon, IAS (Retd), Secretary, Punjab Red Cross*, benefits approximately 20-30 nephrology patients daily,amongst a host of others.
The motive behind this initiative is to *extend help to those in need, embodying the Red Cross’ mission of promoting people’s welfare*.
During the event, medicines were distributed to patients. Doctors, teachers, and medical staff were honored by the Punjab Red Cross for their selfless volunteer work in daily life.
On this occasion, we also extend warm wishes to all Teachers, recognizing their invaluable contributions to society. *Happy Teacher’s Day!*
